Tidal Wave Auto Spa | Car Wash

I've already given a good review for the location in McDonough. Just stopped at the location on just off Zebulon Rd in Macon (near the movie theater). Good staff. You can do a decent job tidying up your car for a fairly reasonable price. I suggest getting the membership because they do get pricey, if you don't. Most people don't know that you can wash every day out of the month if you'd like, all for the same price of your choosing. It's better that way. If you have a very nice car or a car that you are trying to keep a pristine coat of paint on, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO A CAR WASH......ANY CAR WASH. GO TO A PROFESSIONAL WITH RAVE REVIEWS!!!! If not, and you just want a clean car, check them out. 😉

Why is this location always closed off? What’s the point of a subscription wash when you can’t use it? Especially this being in the only tidal wave in Macon. Every time I come, it’s blocked off. That’s dumb. And now, this is the second day in a row. I’m just cancelling my subscription lol. I’ll go open one at the other car wash on Forsyth rd.

Most recent experience is near the end. But first, the older ones… I have visited here a number of times in the last couple of years and could have already left a negative review before about some equipment and service issues but I really wanted to give them a chance to correct those, believing that they were just going through growing pains. Now I know different as I see their issues begin with their upper management, affecting quality of employees, and in turn the experience for us customers. The company has not been able to keep the same managers or service workers for long. This speaks to how employees are treated or compensated and that explains why I’ve experienced these problems that I will share. The equipment in the wash bay tends to fall behind in service and adjustments. I know this from being told, and from my own experience, especially with the last horizontal roller on a few occasions over a 2 year period. One manager was going to have me compensated for some paint touch up but then he was gone just weeks later and nobody else seemed to know anything about it. I have had a couple of employees at different times share with me that they had been struggling to get upper

I've really watched this place grow. I've visited a few different locations and this one by far is the most personable. They are always asking how is the service and any suggestions for improving. The location has plenty of vacuum parking and always well supplied with rags and spray cleansing for use. Located right off I475, behind the McDonald's and Waff House were Sonic use to sit, the location is easy to get to and totally accessible. It's nice to stop at this one instead of always having to travel to Warner Robins.
